Here is the feedback from the leaders of the local youth football association (Manalapan Pop Warner) after my presentation at their Closing Banquet.
Dear Mr. Rubin,
Thank you for speaking to the players, parents and coaches at this years’ Closing Banquet of the Manalapan Youth Football Association (MYFA). You are a talented man with the ability to speak to today’s youth.
We appreciate you tailoring your speech to the various age groups. Your speech was informative as well as inspirational. The thoughts you shared, “you can always get a bit better”, “good teams beat great (individual) players”, and “winners never quit” were messages that everyone took away with them. It was especially poignant that you stressed your success in life was due to the importance you put on academics.
The stories of college recruiting and bowl appearances were fascinating for all.
Once again thank you for taking the time to speak to our organization as well as sitting for autographs and pictures with all the players. Your participation made this year’s event one of the best ever!
