I often begin my talks with a statement from one of my favorite books, The Richest Man in Babylon, by George Clason.

One of his character states,

“Deride not what I say because of its simplicity. Truth is always simple.”

Resist the temptation to complicate things.  Life is not as complex as we often perceive it, or MAKE IT, to be.

The most successful individuals and teams I know are often the ones who have mastered the basics.  They do a few things better – and more consistently – than everyone else.
