Just the other day, I got a chance to address the First-Ever Men’s Basketball Team at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ. After my talk, check out what the head coach had to say about my presentation, “5 Components of Extraordinary Teams“:
“Lee’s message was genuine, motivational and completely supported the goals of our team. Having our players and coaches hear that reinforcement from a voice other than mine was extremely beneficial. Lee’s experience as a former athlete made him relevant and credible. Since his talk, our team has been much more focused, competitive and intense. The investment to have Lee come in is paying visible dividends already!” Enrico Mastroianni – Head Men’s Basketball Coach, Georgian Court University
Testimonial: Richard Allen – Neptune High School October 18, 2013Posted by in : Testimonials , add a comment
I had a blast sharing my message, “Don’t Just Play…WIN!” with the Senior Class of Neptune (NJ) High School. Here’s what the principal had to say after my talk:
Lee Rubin came to Neptune High School to inspire, motivate, and empower the student body. He did just that. He challenged the students to make winning the only option; to craft their specific and lofty goals to pave their path to personal success; and to embrace adversity as an agent for change and personal growth. His high energy, high intensity, and straight forward message resonates with the high school students who are looking for permission to be their very best. His story is different because he is unapologetic about making wise choices throughout his life. He is unapologetic about being a scholar-athlete. If success leaves clues, Lee Rubin left plenty behind in the MTL PAC of Neptune HS for students to ponder on their unique quest for excellence and no excuses. - Richard W. Allen, Ed.S.

I had the privilege of spending two nights sharing with the Villanova Football Team in July. Here’s a testimonial from Head Coach Andy Talley. Go Wildcats!
“Recently, Lee spoke to our football team for two straight nights.
Drawing on his experience as a student-athlete, leader, corporate professional and family man, Lee was able to convey his stories and communicate the underlying message so that it is not only crystal clear but relatable to each and every player. Our players were hooked from beginning to end and the impact was immediate and obvious.
Lee exceeded my expectations by reinforcing the core values that we preach to our players every day. Any team will be a better team after hearing Lee’s messages.”

I had the honor of addressing the graduating class of Phillipsburg (NJ) High School yesterday. I’m even more flattered by the note written by the school’s principal.
June 13, 2012
I have been blessed to lead Phillipsburg High School, as the principal, for the past three years. As the end of each school year
comes to a close, I have a desire to deliver a message to graduating seniors that they can take with them as they depart for college, the military or the workplace.
My athletic director, Tom Fisher, attended the New Jersey Athletic Director’s annual conference in Atlantic City in March, 2012. He had the privilege of hearing Lee Rubin speak at the conference. When Tom returned, he said, “If you can get Lee to PHS, do it.”
Knowing that I wanted to do something special for the graduating seniors, I contacted Lee and asked if he would come speak with them prior to graduation practice. In addition, I purchased Lee’s book for each member of the class (400 students) as a gift.
Wow! Lee spoke to the PHS Class of 2012 this morning and delivered a powerful message. You could hear a pin drop in the auditorium. Each student took in every word and heard a message that can change their life forever! Each and every senior in high school should hear Lee’s words. He has the power to influence in ways I have never seen.

Recently, I had the honor of moderating an amazing panel of experts during an NFL pre-draft event for high school student-athletes. The panel was filled with former college and pro athletes that have made a successful transition into roles within the business side of sports. Here’s a testimonial from one of the panelists, Tanya Marchiol – former volleyball player and founder of TEAM Investments, Inc.

Being a moderator for a panel of experts takes a special calling, one must be knowledgeable and astute as to who knows how to answer which question and grasp the crowds interest in the subject at hand. They are the leader among expert leaders. Lee, does just that. It was a pleasure to work with someone who understood each panelists knowledge of subjects and the enthusiasm in answering to engage the crowd. I would hire Lee for my personal events as his ability to convey and engage were superior. -Tanya Marchiol, TV Personality and Real Estate Expert
As President of the New Jersey Athletic Directors, it was a pleasure to welcome Lee Rubin as a keynote speaker at our 52nd Annual Workshop of the Directors of Athletics Association of New Jersey. Lee’s topic was “Helping Student-Athletes Win on and Off the Field.” Lee brings a wealth of athletic experience to the table and expresses himself in a logical sequential manner. His topic was relevant to the athletic administrators in the room. Conference evaluations were positive across the board and indicated that Lee was well received. In addition to the topic already mentioned, Lee speaks on Leadership, Team-Building, Overcoming Adversity, and Personal Growth. Lee was engaged with his audience and his audience was engaged with him. The points shared were applicable to helping student-athletes succeed. It was a pleasure having Lee speak at our conference and I would have no reservations with hearing Lee speak on a wide variety of athletic topics and issues.
If I can provide you with additional information regarding Lee Rubin, please do not hesitate to contact me. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
